Dr. Burford specializes in the treatment of Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain and Arthritis. He is one of only 100 doctors in the world trained in the NRC treatment for Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain. His business in Collierville is also this region’s only Spinal Arthritis Center of America which specializes in the treatment of Arthritis pain. His clinic, Burford Spinal Rehab applies Chiropractic care, Physical Therapy and the Pierce and Pettibon methods to achieve the best possible result for patients.
He takes an active role in many organizations and community forums in the Collierville area. He has been a practitioner in Collierville since 1986 and lecturer at many business, clubs and organizations such as the Collieville Rotary Club, Methodist Radiological Technicians, Kellogg’s, Collierville High School, YMCA, and Collierville Public Library.
Dr. Burford is a proud sponsor of several national, non-profit organizations: National Set A Good Example program that teaches moral principles to the youth of today, the Kindness Revolution that encourages students that education + respectful behavior = opportunities, and the Foundation of Wellness Professionals whose members are natural healthcare professionals who devote their time as motivational and keynote speakers, who perform Wellness Days, do blood pressure checks, spinal screenings and deliver educational workshops at no charge on health-related topics in their local communities.
In addition, Dr. Burford has been a member of the Collierville Chamber of Commerce for twenty years and, as a former board member, has remained active in the local community.
